We may need different types of belts when wearing different types of holsters, but there are some universal things to look for in a belt. Rob Pincus is on the range with a variety of belts and holsters. When choosing a concealed carry belt, look for one with the rigidity and vertical stability to hold the holster, yet one that is malleable enough to be comfortably worn. Then consider how different types of holsters interact with the belt. We want the holster loops to match the width of the belt, so there is no play between them.
