The single-stack 9mm handgun is the most exciting category of firearms designed specifically for personal defense on the market today. Why are people so interested in them? In addition to the fact that they are new and affordable, the single-stack is thinner than a double-stack. This makes it more concealable and more comfortable to carry inside the waistband all day. Looking at a single- and a double-stack side by side, the single may not be dramatically thinner, but it’s enough that you don’t have to dress around it and you won’t find it uncomfortable for full-day wear.
