Massad Ayoob has a good video about whether to keep silent at a crime scene. He does recommend speaking to police because the first person calling the police is assume to be the victim. He also talks about what to say and how to secure the shooting scene and tell the police where the shell casings etc. are. He makes sense. Clamming up and not telling the officer you felt your life was in danger is not wise.

You could be in a righteous shoot totally justified & be bankrupted by legal expenses. If that info is not covered you are doing a disservice to your readers

I am also checking with my insurance agents to see if we are covered, because so Far my reading says NO.

Williams I’m very grateful for your articles, here in Puerto Rico however when you call Police they don’t come period. They have been slapped with a deep blow in their retirement benefits and many are running for the hills at this moment. What to do if you know for certain they will not come?
