The LaserLyte TLP-1 does triple duty as a laser pointer, pen and impact device. In controlled areas such as commercial airliners, we cannot carry any sort of overt defensive tool. This is where the TLP-1 can be of use. It is purpose-built to have a good, strong heavy handle area and solid point. The point is sharp enough to concentrate force, which is what we need in a defensive situation, but not so sharp that it tears up our clothes or bag when we’re carrying it.
