Just listened to church security on Grant’s program. Being a pastoral staff member in a large church I really appreciate the solid information regarding church security. After the TX church shooting our church is finally at least discussing the topic of creating a trained security team within our church body. Thanks ever so much for this great program.
Thank You for the great program and the opportunity to become a member - a truly great resource I just happened to tune in today on the church security issue - I am now a pastor and a former security specialist and sheriff's officer - we have been discussing our security needs just this week - how timely can you get ! Thank You again - I look forward to utilizing your resources and tuning in - Sincerely Michael Zoda
Most people do not realize all that a Pastor and church deals with where there is a higher probability of some time of violence: i.e., PFA's, domestic disputes, drug and alcohol addiction, ex-cons, custody disputes, physical and sexual abuse, mental and emotional issues, conflicts between families in the church, personal offenses, vagrants, con-men, and on and on.... on a weekly if not daily basis!
My church is a very large building, the auditorium is 120 feet by 95 feet; there is 75,000 square feet in the building; gymnasium; social hall; three floors in the educational wing; over 70 rooms in the building.... it is a massive facility to try and keep "secure".
