Extreme Close-Quarter Rifle Training

For many people, defensive use of a rifle will most likely occur inside the home. This makes an encounter at extreme close quarters (defined as within two arms’ reach) a real possibility we should train for. How do we maintain control of the rifle at this distance and employ it to stop the threat if needed?
