Selecting a Firearms Dealer and Range

Here's another important video from the Personal Defense Network. We're here for the Personal Defense Network at the Scottsdale Gun Club in Arizona. Scottsdale Gun club is a five star facility and it really is set up specifically with defensive training and tactical shooting in mind. If you look around the store here, you're not gonna see a lot of hunting and you're not gonna see a lot of camouflage, but you're gonna see an incredible array of equipment, firearms, and great range spaces and knowledgeable staff and instructors that'll allow you to understand what you need or to help you get what you want when it comes to personal defense firearm purchases or home defense equipment or maybe even a safe, or a quick access vault that you're going to use to store that firearm until you need it. As we walk around, you're gonna see a lot of different firearms on the walls. You can see different equipment racks, you can see different firearms inside of the cases. And one of the best things about a club like the Scottsdale Gun Club is that there are a lot of different rental firearms that you can use to experiment with which firearm fits you best or which firearms fits the context of your use. If you go to a club or you go to a gun shop that doesn't have a lot of different firearms for you experiment with, you may miss an opportunity to get the firearm that most efficient for you. So, while this isn't just about coming to the Scottsdale Gun Club, it's really about understanding the type of store, the type of facility that you wanna go to when it comes time to choose your firearm, choose your equipment, choose your training, or choose your training environment. As we move through, you're gonna see that not only is it a full service retail shop, but it also gives us the opportunity to see what's going on out on the range. That means that you and your instructor or you and your training partners can evaluate the environment that you're gonna shoot in, watch other people shoot, maybe even get some good tips or learn what not to do simply by observing other people. This is exactly the kind of range that I highly recommend and especially in new shooter go-to, before they decide which firearm they wanna purchase, or go off and practice on their own. Whether it's the Scottsdale Gun Club or any other full service firearms retail facility and training opportunity that you have, make sure that you seek it out.
