PDN Training Talk: July 2nd, 2020

Join Deryck Poole and Barret Kendrick at 6 pm Pacific/9 pm Eastern on Thursday, July 2nd, for their discussion with special guest Mike McElmeel. Mike is a PDN Contributor, former Green Beret and a nationally registered EMT-Paramedic (NREMT-P), with extensive experience in the security field and as a reserve police officer. We will be discussing safety while training, what to do if there is an incident, and going into detail about an actual range incident where a student shot themselves and how it was handled.

What questions would you like to see answered? Post before the show, and we may be able to cover them. Of course, if you miss the live show, you can always watch the replay at the Personal Defense Network Blog.

I just got a brand new Sig Sauer p365....... it’s so stiff I can’t rack the slide. I’ve cleaned and oiled it twice and still can’t rack it. I haven’t even shot it yet because I don’t want to leave a cartridge in the chamber. How do I loosen it up?
