Down But Not Out?
Michael DasargoWe’ve been conditioned to believe that once the threat is down, the fight is over and we can move on to other tasks such as assessing the environment for additional threats. However, the threat may be down temporarily, and we need to stay attentive to his movement patterns. Is he squirming in pain or trying to reach his gun so he can continue shooting at us?
