G-Code Contact Harness

Plate carriers are sort of all the rage. Now, obviously, for armed professionals, this is the way to go. And if you wanna be standing by with, with a good hard armor plate, the plate carrier is the best way to be able to grab this out of your trunk, out of your closet, wherever your staging area is, particularly, again, for the armed professionals. But I'm seeing a lot of people wearing them on the range and going to classes. Now, some classes it's appropriate.

Concealed carry, defensive shooting, handgun classes, probably not as much. but there's a time and a place for the plate carrier. Personally, as far as, like, a grab-and-go solution, my preference from G-Code, and this is again part of the SINC Series, just like the assault plate carrier, this is the KonTact Harness. And this is more like an old-school, LBE, load-bearing equipment, kind of setup. Just like the plate carrier, all the SINC Series family items are very modular and very customizable.

But this is a much lighter-weight solution. And I think bang for the buck for most people, this is something that not only could be used in an emergency to grab and go with your rifle for whatever it is you might need to do that for, but also, this is more useful on a day-to-day basis, right? If I, I can take the magazines out, use it for other things. I got this little backpack that I like to put on the back here. I'll go ahead and throw this on.

You can see how this works. this placard has, an admin pouch. It's got three magazines. I can secure this if I have a, extra second in my grab-and-go situation to make it, less floppy. And now it's really secure, easy to get magazines, easy to get to my stuff.

Medical kit maybe down here in what's called the suspension pouch. Admin stuff up here, whatever that might be. Rangefinder, thermal binocular, things like that. And of course, AR mags. If I grab my rifle at the same time, wherever my staged defensive rifle is, have that set up with a little extra room on the sling.

And now I can go over the KonTact Harness and do what I need to do, have the extra magazines. And as you can see, the straps are very minimalist. Nothing's getting in the way of bringing the gun into my chest on the toe of the stock in my ready position or in my shooting position. I can transition if I need to. I can bring the gun over this side, maybe loosen it up for a partial transition.

I can open this up even more if I want to slip out and do a full transition. I've got that option as well. Coming back over, getting back in, and cinching this down a little bit to be in a good administrative situation. So I've got my gun, I've got all my gear. But as I was saying, it's not just a quick access, kind of quick response in a tactical sense.

if I want to take these magazines out, I can use this when I'm going hunting, right? I keep my phone in there, keep my rangefinder in here, keep some snacks down here, maybe some extra water in the backpack, whatever it is. I can throw a raincoat in there if I'm going hiking. you may not want the camo one, and that's fine, because the SINC Series stuff all comes in a lot of different colors. You can get gray, you can get green, you can get brown.

or you can get the multicam or the multicam dark. big fan of the SINC Series. Obviously, G-Code makes incredible stuff. all the cordura is laser-cut. It's all made and put together right in North Carolina.

Of course, I've been to the factory. They are sponsors with the Personal Defense Network Training Tour. been friends with this company for a long time. They make incredible concealed carry holsters, appendix, on the belt, behind the waist, wherever you wear, behind the, hip line, on the waist, inside the waistband, whatever you want to do. They make duty gear.

They make the plate carriers. They make stuff for armed professionals. I think the KonTact Harness is a great option for somebody who wants to be able to grab the emergency light, the emergency medical equipment, the emergency magazines with their rifle. Or you can set this up in another way. You might have it set up with the magazines in the back, a larger admin pouch, pistol mag in the bottom.

If you're a pistol caliber carbine guy and you've got a MP5 or something like that, a Mongoose from NEMO Stage, maybe you want this that has the, s- pouches set up right there for the MP5-type mags, PCC mags. Lot of different ways that you can set up the placards, including clean pack- placards with MOLLE that you can customize with whatever patches you want. But I don't know why you wouldn't go with something directly from G-Code. the KonTact Harness. Check it out if you're looking for something that's a good grab-and-go solution for any emergency or for any outdoor activity, a good way to carry gear conveniently, in a very minimalist way, without going all the way to the more expensive, more cumbersome, and again, more for professional use, plate carrier.
