Description

Even though .40 caliber and 10mm are the same diameter, the 10mm cartridge is far more powerful, and it’s making a big comeback here in the U.S. Grand Power has responded to that by offering their P40 in 10mm.

The Grand Power P40 10mm is a 14+1 round handgun with rotating barrel and exposed hammer. It’s a double-action gun with an ambidextrous decocker and ambidextrous magazine release. It has a great trigger, is very shootable due to its ergonomics, and extremely reliable.

Grand Power is a Slovakian company. Rob Pincus has been to their factory and seen how they combine modern technology and manufacturing processes with old-world craftsmanship. Each P40 is assembled by one person, not on an assembly line, for maximum quality and reliability. No MIM parts are used.

Rob believes the best application for the P40 10mm may be back-country carry for protection against large four-legged predators, though some people also choose it for home defense.

Great video, covered a lot of good points, one issue I had was that he mentioned how awesome and unique the rotating barrel is, grabbed the slide like he was going to demonstrate how awesome it is, then abruptly changed the subject, lol Otherwise, it is a pistol I will look into. Thank you!

I’ve owned the P40 10mm for two years and this is my primary CCW. I carry it at 4 o’clock in in an alien holster that I had s custom shell made for it. I love it. Traded my Glock 20 for it and never looked back. Double/Single action is my preferred pistol type. It’s big and heavy but shoots like a 45 with that rotating barrel.

The Grandpower 10mm is one of the easiest weapons to shoot. The recoil is more of a push than a flip, so it is easier to accurately acquire the target after each shot. I find that for my hand it fits well and it is a balanced handgun. The only issue that I have found is that it does not like non brass ammo, as occasionally a casing will not eject with steel cased rounds. A very nice large caliber weapon for women due to the revolving barrel.
